As a first step, please take the time to register your details to get more information on grants and other related supports, including being notified of when applications open.
We will continue to keep you updated and advise you when additional support becomes available. Local support and advice can be sourced here:
It is normal to have strong emotional or physical reactions following a distressing event.
The intensity of a reaction differs from person to person, but some reactions last for days, weeks or even longer. On most occasions though, these reactions subside as a part of the body’s natural healing and recovery process. Your own coping style is likely to have an influence on how your child or teenager responds to a traumatic event.
Be aware of your reactions, your stress levels and your ability to cope following a traumatic experience and seek support if difficulties persist over time.
If you are struggling to cope after a traumatic event, make an appointment with your GP.
Visit the National Centre for Farmer Health for resources and more information.
