FFM (Forest Fire Management): 2022/23 Fuel Management program update.

Weather has limited opportunities to conduct planned burns.

2 of 23 burns (1,600 of 18,000ha) has been completed.

Continuing to monitor for opportunities to conduct more of the planned burning program.

900ha of Non Burning Fuel Treatments achieved across 100 sites including mulching, slashing & spraying.

Ovens district will become one of the highest priority districts across the state for delivery of planned burning in the 2023/24 financial year.

2023/24 program will look similar to this years.
