ASC: Youth Mental Health First Aid
Nick from the Mental Health Coach is returning to our region for the third year running to deliver Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training.
This free 2-day course is designed for adults who work, live with, or support young people—perfect for parents, sports coaches, community leaders, and school staff.

Dates: 31st March & 1st April 2025
The Youth MHFA course complements the Teen MHFA program, which will be rolled out to all Year 8 and 10 students across the four secondary schools in Alpine Shire during Term 2.

National Emergency Management Agency: The Disaster Ready Fund
The Disaster Ready Fund (DRF) is the Australian Government’s flagship initiative for disaster resilience and risk reduction.
The Australian Government is providing up to one billion dollars through the DRF. The funding runs over five years from 1 July 2023.
The funding support-s projects. These projects address the physical and social impacts of disasters on our communities. Disasters that can be caused by climate change and other natural hazards.
