MEMP – Municipal Emergency Management Plan
The preparation of this Municipal Emergency Management Plan (MEMP) involves identifying and mitigating the risks specific to the Alpine Shire, outlining capability and capacity of local agencies, and documenting relief and recovery strategies that can be delivered at a local level to help communities to become safer and more resilient in the face of an emergency.

*FFM: Spring firewood collection season opens 1 September.
Victorians can prepare for next winter by collecting free firewood for personal use from state forest collection areas from 1 September until 30 November.
