Alpine Health: Together we can make a difference.
Following our successful first workshop—where we explored what a postvention plan is and what a coordinated response could look like within the Alpine community—we would like to invite interested community members to come together once again to help finalise the Alpine Health postvention plan.
In this second workshop, we will introduce the tools developed by Murray PHN to support your response team following a notification of a death by suicide. We will also share additional training opportunities designed to strengthen your community’s capacity to respond to such events.
Across both workshops, we have been gathering your thoughts and feedback, all of which will be incorporated into the final plan.
We are committed to building a community of care that supports those impacted by suicide. Whether you have been personally bereaved, know someone who has experienced such a loss, or represent an organisation that supports the community, your involvement plays an important role.
If you have lived experience, we especially welcome your participation. Your insight, courage and understanding are deeply important, and this workshop offers a safe and supportive opportunity to share your experience in a way that will help to reduce the impact of suicide on our community.
When: Wednesday 15 April, 2026 from 10.45am – 1.30pm
Where: The Pavilion, Pioneer Park Recreation Reserve, Coronation Avenue, Bright
Please RSVP with dietary details no later than Wednesday 8th April
